Valley View School District
Located in southwest Jonesboro, Valley View is home of the Blazers, with the colors of blue and gold. All students are share one campus, from Pre-K through High School.
The district has grown by leaps and bounds in the past decade, with an enrollment of over 2,600 students in 2014.
Not only has the school grown in numbers; it has received national recognition for education. Valley View Junior High School was named a 2015 National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education. The district also boasts a 95% graduation rate.
Its mission statement promises, "The school climate will promote opportunities that encourage self-esteem, a personal commitment to accepting responsibility, and higher order thinking skills, which are the ability to communicate, reason, and solve relevant problems."

Fine arts classes include:

Four levels of both Spanish and French language are offered.
To prepare students even further for life after high school, the high school offers courses focused on business, agriculture, family and consumer sciences, and medical professions. And the JROTC program teaches students the importance of leadership.
